Greek Turkey Burgers

 

Turkey Burger

Ground turkey breast

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 Eggs

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp lemon zest

1 tsp finely chopped garlic

1 tbsp dill

Tzatziki

1/2 cup grated English cucumber

1 cup fat free greek yogurt

1 tbsp fresh or dried dill

 

Mix all turkey burger ingredients in a bowl. Form into patties approximately the size of your palm and 1 inch thick

Grill approximately 8-10 minutes on medium-high heat, flipping once. If not using a bbq, use a grill or pan with a tight fitting lid

While grilling, place grated cucumber mix in paper towel and strain out extra liquid. Once drained, mix all remaining tzatziki ingredients together in a bowl and assemble burger buns

Spread tzatziki mix on both sides of the bun, add crumbled feta, thinly sliced cucumber, thinly sliced red onion, and a large handful of spinach, before topping with the patty
