Peach Crisp

It is still a few weeks early for fresh peaches at the farmers markets however a lot of grocery stores are carrying them now, so I could not resist a classic peach crisp!  CWM’s favourite dessert is his Grandma’s apple crip, but his favourite fruit are peaches so I have combined the two for a yummy Sunday night dessert! The best part of this recipe is you can substitute the peaches or apples for any fruits you wish!

Here is the problem: the crisp topping is Top Secret so I will have to provide you with a few sites with delicious toppings…

Directions:

Peel and slice the peaches into quarters, then lay them on the bottom of a greased pan.

Combine the crisp topping of your choice. Press mixture over peaches and bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until the top is brown.

Serve with a scoop of ice cream, your favourite ice wine, and your best company!

  1. It looks so good I can’t wait to try this at home. I will share with you that I had a “Peach Bellini” over the weekend and it will probably be perfect with this dessert. It is white wine with fresh peaches basically (served as a frozen drink).
    Thanks for sharing

  2. your presentation is beautiful, peaches are always served best in vintage Belle Fiore by Simpsons Potters.
