One Year in Ottawa

One day after the 2011 Federal Election I had my three suitcases in tow and I was boarding a direct flight from Kelowna-Ottawa for a summer internship. CWM had been living here for a year and I knew I was meant to be here with him. One year, one job offer, one move, one meet and greet with royalty and I am still here!

Our days are long, anywhere from 12-15 hours but we still manage to eat dinner at the table together, four or five nights a week, get away on the weekends, and play house as often as possible.

Highlights of the past year:

The reason I am in Ottawa, Ron and Cindy Cannan

I was to busy enjoying shaking her hand and having a conversation that I didnt think to get a photo with her. Regardless, she is a woman full of class and love, and I really look up to her.
